Perfect Sink

Love my white sink. I was hesitant to order on line but glad I did. The sink has a beautiful shape and both sinks are large enough to clean pots. Does not scratch. Go for it, you will be glad you did.
it is big and beautiful. We are using it in an undermount application

Haven't used this sink yet, but I thought I would share what I learned. First, it is big and beautiful. We are using it in an undermount application. The large undermount flange fills up almost an entire standard 36" sink base cabinet. We have a tilt out tray in the front of the sink cabinet and there isn't any room to add sink support on the front sink flange. We will probably end up using a Hercules sink support strap and wood on the other three sides. Granite installer wasn't too concerned about not having support under front of sink. They said supporting three other sides with wood and the silicone would be sufficient.
Blanco sells the undermount clips separately. Drop in clips are included. I purchased the Blanco clips separately, but my granite company didn't use them. They said there wasn't room for the Blanco clips. There are a lot of undermount support systems on the market.
Standard garbage disposal push button air switches are too short for the combined thickness of this sink plus 3 cm granite. You can special order an extension for the switch from insinkerator. Based on calls to tech support the standard Mountain and Rohl disposal switches are also too short. I found a no name air switch from China that is long enough. Time will tell if it is well made.
In addition to the one hole shown in the photo this sink also has three other pre-scored knockouts. You can buy the sink with addition factory holes for more money as part 440198-X, where X is the total number of other holes on the sink. The other interesting thing is 511-643 is actually Blanco part number 440198.
If you aren't afraid of knocking out a few holes then I this a better choice. It is cheaper and gives you total flexibility on the number of faucet holes. There are a few videos on knocking out the holes on youtube.

Nice low lip when mounted as a drop-in sink

Awsome sink. I installed it myself replacing a similar cast iron and porcelain sink made by American Standard. The I purchased is the color "Cinder", which is dark gray (almost black). After installation, I trimmed it out with Color Fast Industries Tile and Grout Caulk Siliconized Acrylic Charcoal Gray:
TEC Color Matched Caulk by Colorfast (Unsanded) (929 Charcoal Gray)
To get the sink to lay flush, I had to grind the corners of the original sink cutout to a tighter curve. Overall a really great kit. I've had a little trouble with the mounting clamps not staying attached to the sink. Maybe I didn't install them right. I used a little JB Weld to glue the clamp brackets to solve my problem.
The sink looks really nice against my granite tile counter top.

Take time when picking out your sink
I felt that this mascara was too clumpy and made my eyelashes stick together too much and I don’t feel it lifted my eyelashes at all✓ Verified Purchase•May 4, 2023
I thought I would like this product but I didn't. There's nothing wrong with it but I wasn't thinking about a couple of things and now I think we're stuck with it. It's a nice sink, but with their countertop and it being so deep, I have short arms so think about that I should've got a smaller sink, and also I can't ever get the sink clean. Oh well that was a while ago.
The Cafe Brown Blanco sink looks absolutely perfect with the Giallo Ornamental granite

The Cafe Brown Blanco sink looks absolutely perfect with the Giallo Ornamental granite.
My previous (Corian) sink had one super large side and a smaller side which I liked immensely, but I was a bit hesitant about the Blanco because the dimensions were vastly different and the small sink is very small. Well, after having it for two months, I can honestly say I love the design. The depth of the bowls is perfect. The small side has a garbage disposal installed, which I very rarely use; I use the small sink to drain hand-washed items. The left side is so large that I can easily set a cookie sheet, or the outdoor grill grates flat in order to wash.
I splurged and got the coordinating Blanco waste basket strainer and stopper - and don't regret it. Having an oil-rubbed bronze faucet, I didn't think any other strainer would look as nice, and I was right.
I also have the Blanco 221011 Diamond Stainless Steel Sink Rack to protect the largest bowl which eases my mind that the sink will remain scratch free.
I'm not meticulous about drying the sink, but usually rinse it with water and once a day wash it out with Dawn dish soap and a sponge or rag. The sink cleans very easily.
