This is a great accessory for any Kato setup but keep in mind you will need to get a power supply for it, which Kato also sells, part number for that is 24-844, though I believe you can use any low amp 17v power supply.

Kato makes really good quality products. This signal system is one of them. Great addition to my layout. I will put another one out somewhere I like it so much. Adding another is less expensive because the power source has room for three of them. Requires a power unit and a snap on power connection on your Kato controller.
