This Better Than Bouillon Base (Chicken Flavor) is not your run of the mill bouillon. I use it when I cook shredded chicken in my Instant Pot. After I shred the chicken, I poor the remaining cooking liquid into the container I use to store the shredded chicken. The shredded meat is so tender and flavorful. After a couple of days, I drain any of the broth left in the shredded chicken, and freeze it to add to stock when I make soup. This is great stuff!!

Sometimes it is cheaper online than in store but over all I recommend the product. If you don't have your own stock/broth ready and need something in a hurry this is the answer. Especially if not able/wanting to use meat, there are fewer vegetable bouillon options and this does fill a need. Disolves well with hot or cold water and the lower sodium version, while still containing a lot of sodium, is better than the 'standard' version. It does not take the place of making your own broth/stock but it is great when needing something in a hurry or just a little bit to add flavour to. Does not strongly taste of one ingredient over the other.
