would never try and replace ball joints without something like this.

Made pressing ball joints so much easier, would never try and replace ball joints without something like this.
Great tool to have!

I bought this for Dana 44 ball joints. It worked like a charm for removal and reinstall on an axle that was laying dormant for several years. Works great on u-joints too. I'll never use the old socket and hammer method again. Just lightly grease the press screw before first use and you'll have no problem using it without an impact. This Astro is just as good as the OTC loan-a-tool I had to use last time!
Quality part at reasonable price.

A quality part at reasonable price. DIY car repairs give a good excuse to buy more tools and still come out ahead financially! I used on 03 Escalade (Tahoe/Yukon) ball joints and it worked great!
Very good tool for the money. Works well.

Worked well on my 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 2-wheel drive. one lower ball joint went in a bit crooked because of the access (not the tool), but got it snugged up with the clamp only on the edge of the control arm, so all's well. i recommend.
Works just fine

Have used on several trucks. If you take your time and work the ball joints out it works great and will not break. If you treat it like your a moron with no self control than it may break from what i gather reading other reviews.
