The birds seem to like it and it is an alright cost - it is cheaper than buying from the local petstore although the birds seemed to lay more eggs when I fed them the brand I bought locally so I just get a bag locally and mix with the bags I buy from here and it seems to be working ok.

Our white doves love this seed. We buy 8-10 bags at the time (free shipping) and just drop it into the deep freeze until it is needed. Doves eat most but the red/green pieces, until that is all they have to eat, then they eat it. Much better price then box stores.

Our finches do not like this blend. They pick out some of the seeds but leave the rest behind.

Food that my finches enjoy. I like the re-sealable bag. The variety of seed, veggies and fruits, minerals and vitamins is just what my birds need. Their beaks are a nice red color and the feathers are also nice.

wish it came in a larger size. alternate between this one and another (vitakraft), to go along with their standard blend i buy from the local dept store. they love them both. soon as i put this in there they all gather round and eat it up. they never eat the little round black seeds, tho, always leave them. i save save those during the week and blend them up in food proc w/ hard boiled egg (shell and all), grit, grass or spinach, and mealworms. happy birds.
