The product was fine, but the thread holes were drilled a bit "crooked." Meaning, the four studs stood up at different angles and would not allow the carb to be mounted. I was able to adjust/bend them to work by brute force--a hammer.
recommend 5/16th cap screws 2" length be provided with product!

Required tapping the intake to utilize the inside holes as the outside holes did not line up with the 1400 carburetor, working fine other than the mismatched outer holes.

Great fit and finish. These guys know what they're doing. This worked perfect adapting my factory original quadra-jet to an electric choke edelbrock without any permanent modifications. This will allow me to swap back to the Q-jet at my leisure once it's rebuilt and upgraded to electric choke from the heat-riser tubes that rotted out. The gaskets sealed well, but if you're planning to install this exactly as I did, you'll want to pair it up with the ICT Billet heat riser choke blockoff plate, and possibly an EGR delete blockoff plate.
