If you've never used one of these before, get some spare bands and practice. Once you have done it a few times, it becomes easy. Tool works fine, and does what it should.
Does not grab smaller cvboot bands.

Tool will not work with the smaller side of the cv boot bands. I have a 2007 wrx and went to replace the inner boot and had to use pliers instead of this tool because the part on the tool that turns is too far back to grab the metal bands. Works great for thr larger bands. BUT the whole purpose of this tool is to use it on all cv boots. It wont. My car isn't anything special and the cv boot kit was from subaru.
