Love it; it is a complete concert. The DVD is in great shape; sounds great and no skips. Rod is having fun and the crowd is really into it.

I've never seen Rod Stewart live, and never really wanted to. I bought this for my wife, who has seen him live twice and wanted a video.

Now, I'm sorry I never went to see him in his heyday. Stewart is a charming and charismatic performer who engages the audience nearly as masterfully as Bruce Springsteen. Who'da thunk?

The set is a mix of his older hits and several Great American Songbook tunes. Ron Wood shows up for a couple of numbers. Chrissie Hynde performs a charming duet with him of As Time Goes By.

Stewart has enough costume changes to rival Stevie Nicks. His long-time band is in excellent form, especially his hot fiddle player. He's generous about sharing the stage with his band and guests, and the entire performance is loose and happy. Penny Lancaster, his wife, shows up for one number to strut across the stage in a tartan miniskirt carrying, not playing, bagpipes. Talk about legs right up to your neck . . .

Audio is just OK. The stereo track is better than the surround track. I'd take off a point for the audio, but everything else is excellent. Except the show is too short (80 minutes). Would love to have an extended Blu-Ray edition. The accompanying mini-documentary about how the show came together is well-done and worth watching.

Great show & video recording multi-camera aspects and great show of Rod's fantastic talent

I like Rod a lot, the Gasoline Alley Rod and every Picture Rod... This show is really excellent and he does a fairly good career overview. He has the audience in the palm of his hand, well why not the band is superb and the choice of songs is good.Stayed away from asking if he was still sexy at his age, a wise move :) The violin player is a highlight for me and t could have been longer. I saw it on PBS and enjoyed it so much I bought it...
