I HAVEN'T TRIED YET BUT IT LOOKS LIKE A GOOD PRODUCT
Does the job

I'm glad I ordered this product. I have a little experience patching holes and mixing colors and I think that experience helps a lot when using this product. For someone inexperienced and not handy, this product might be difficult to use, but I love it. Workmen put in a new dishwasher and chipped my formica countertop. I used this product to repair the chip. I followed the color mixing guideline provided. I did need to coat the chip 3 times to cover the epoxy sufficiently, letting each coat dry in between and smoothing each coat. In the end, the chip is repaired, smooth, and barely noticeable. If you didn't know the repair was there, you wouldn't see it. I am very happy with this product, and I have plenty left for future repairs around the house, should they be needed.

I used this on a desk I "got" with my new job. The desk had a couple of chipped places where only I will see them, but decided for the price I should try it out. The direction were clear, and the product seems to work fine. I used the epoxy ribbon, then mixed the paint, and used a black marker to creat the grain. It's fine. You can reseal the paints. Do it immediately, they dry out quickly.
Cleaned up brush and mixing container with dish soap and water for next day's use. No complaints!

Saved me from buying a new countertop

I put an overly hot pan on my kitchen linoleum counter and melted it. It left a brown ring and 3 melted holes the size of quarters. My husband and I decided we would have to replace the counter top but then he suggested I try to find a patch kit before I spent several hundred dollars (or perhaps thousand?). Luckily I am an artist so it was easy for me to use the little colored paints included to create a perfect match. The gluey mix is like a rubberized patch, and it filled the holes perfectly. Now you cannot tell there was ever damage. The trick is to put 3-5 light layers on, 12-24 hours apart, so each layer hardens fully. It comes with sandpaper and a texture paper so you can match the texture on the counter top. The smartest thing they did was to include an empty sealed container and stirring knife for color mixing. You can seal it and open it later to use over and over. And if your color isn't perfect, you can add a little more of one and remix. It also has a glossy coat you can put on top. Best deal I've found in a long time.
