The product itself is very good and you notice the difference as soon as you start the engine with the new set of MSD cables on it, BUT the big issue here is that this cables are the LT engine not for LS engine. The cables are very short and you can make them work but they are extremely tight to fit both sides connection, you need to bend the boot at the spar plug connector, seems they can get unplugged easily while driving.
Should've listened... too short for my LS.

Read other reviews that stated they were too short, but did not listen. These wires are at least 2 inches too short to be used with my 2004 LS motor. One review stated the spark plug boot would bend to fit... well that ain't so. I have found Packard-wired, with steel noise suppression boots, (like the OE), from United Motor Products, via RockAuto. American-made. These MSD's are pretty, and they give you a free decal, but the UMP parts work.
Great wires for clearing aftermarket shorty headers.

This was my solution when I switched to shorty headers on my 2007 GMC Sierra 5.3 LH6. When I installed a set of Flowtech shorty headers on my truck the stock style wires would not work, the 90 degree boot stuck out too far and was hitting the header on cylinder number 6 and 7. As other reviewers have stated you can bend the strait boots on these wires up to 45 degrees to clear any obstacles.
Great wires from a proven company, and they absolutely will fit on truck based LS engines 3rd or 4th gen.

Don't make the mistake I did... I bought these first before I purchased the GM RED OEM high performance set. These were poor fitting, flimsy.
If you want a proper fit, the ability to use your origional metal insulators. No more miss, no more wires falling off.

These wires said they fit my 6.8 Liter Vortex V8, but they were at a minimum, a full Inch too short. So disappointed! Was looking forward to getting some performance from these. Then there was the hassle of the return. They didn't even have a different size to offer!
