DO NOT BUY

Do not buy! The cap does not stay on. I was holding it in my hand as I was walking to my car from my house and within those 15 seconds, the cap had fallen off and rolled into oblivion. Also, the blade is not secure whatsoever. I've cut things and when I picked up the knife, I would find that the blade would still be stuck in the cardboard.
X-Acto thank you for continuing to make this product, it's hard to get but it is the best X-Acto knife out there.

X-Acto X2000 No-Roll Rubber Barrel. X-Acto thank you for continuing to make this product, it's hard to get but it is the best X-Acto knife out there, I like the black color.
It's a good tool. Easy to replace blades

It's a good tool. Easy to replace blades. The plastic lid doesn't stay on well with even the slightest amount of pressure but as long as you're careful and aware when grabbing it out of your pencil bag or roll, you will be fine.
Does not securely hold the blade after only a few uses! Would not buy.

After only a few uses, the knife no longer securely holds the blade. Now, the blade slips out when attempting to use. I'm using the blade size #11 that came with it and that is recommended by the company. And, I'm only cutting photographs printed from the printer. A waste of money.
Great concept... terrible product

I opened the product and not thinking anything of it, threw the packaging away. Two days later I went to use it and the blade just keeps falling out. It was apparently defective and is useless. Disappointing for an X-Acto product.
