Cheap junk and packaging

Came with Only a 3" clear plastic hose- Way too short to stay in the fresh water hole on RV. Very cheap plastic valve does not shut off water all the way. The unit was Epoxy Glued to the packaging, where we had try and cut the epoxy glue off the unit. Trashed it, got an old "white potable water hose" and just cut it to fit.
... expensive I would just make something that works just like this, but at $4 I don't have to ...

An indispensable tool for the RV'er

A simple idea that eliminates spills while filling RV water tanks. Without this tool, it took two people to fill the fresh water tank in our travel trailer. The inlet opening was not large enough to hold the water hose nozzle in place while filling, meaning that someone had to be at the fill port to hold the hose and someone else had to remain at the faucet to turn the water on and off. This device extends into the water input port on the vehicle allowing you turn on the water at the faucet. When the tank is full, you can turn off the water at the nozzle before returning to shut it off at the faucet. This makes filling a water tank a one-person operation.

I've purchased a few Camco products for my offroad trailer build and haven't been let down by their quality. For the price, they're good stuff and this filler valve is no exception.
Easier to fill with than a garden hose end.

I always fill my fresh water holding tank when I leave the campground. I am single and have to do this job alone sothe built in cutoff comes in really handy if I am in a place that the hose bib is 20 or 30 feet away.
