This is a beautiful little punch, but the punch I received was not ground properly at the tip - Or perhaps it had been damaged by being dropped on the top before I received it. I had to re-grind a proper tapered point on the tip.

Excellent fit and finish that I have come to expect from Starrett. The knurling is exquisite.
Advertised as having a 3" length, but it actually is pretty much exactly 79 mm (3.11"). The tip diameter of 1/16" seemed accurate. The greatest diameter over the knurling seems to be 5 mm (3/16"). The one I received weighs 0.29 oz (8.3 g).

This is the perfect starter punch you will need to remove the staked in hammer pins from a CZ-75B hammer.
At first I thought it would be too small, but much to my surprise the hammer pins came out after a few forceful wacks of my hammer without any bending or deformation of the punch.
It's well worth the money and it's Made In The USA.
For the negative reviews, this is a "manual" pin punch, something you would use a hammer to drive things on. This is not a "automatic" punch, like the ones you use to mark/dimple or break glass.
