Wish I could give this 10 stars! Rhonda V and her band are simply the BEST!

Got this for my father-in-law for Christmas. He LOVED it. Now I actually like Bluegrass as well because of the talent of this lady and her group. AMAZING musicians!! Multi instrumental talent.

Ok Ok - looks like the 40 people preceding me have said pretty much all there is to say about Rhonda, but, I just HAVE to put my 2 Cents in here.
Not much of a Kuntry Muzik fan but I like Allison Krauss and Brad Paisley. Bluegrass always seemed a bit hokey.. . . until a Bud brought this dvd over and we watched it in its entirety. Rhonda knocked me out!!! I could not believe this kind of musicianship existed. Especially want to bring your attention to Josh Williams. He is an amazing guy. I would compare him to Les Paul, Chet Atkins, Steve Vai, and Joe Satriani, but what he does with a guitar defys description.

Whatever your taste is in music; classical, rock, tribal, you should do yourself a favor and get this dvd. It is a joy to experience. If Rhonda and The Rage do a show within 500 miles of your home, don't miss it.
I can't say enough about this band, but,,,,, that's about it!

This is so good I buy copies for friends and family. It's just one fabulous performance after another. Rhonda's paid her dues many times over, and is absolutely brilliant here. And wait until you hear Molly Cherryholmes (who was just 14) play her own tune, "Frankie Belle", with the band! Talk about a walking advertisement for home schooling!

Better music has never been made, folks.

I am watching and listening to this DVD for the "umteenth" time. It is so beautifully filmed, and the sound is excellent when played through a good stereo system. The choice of songs varies from the soulful "Ghost of a Chance," to the beautiful ballad "Missouri Moon," with lots of true blugrass thrown in. Each member of the rage is highlighted and I especially enjoyed Mickey Harris' "Heartbreakin' Old Achin' Blues." If you enjoy the combination of musicality and good, modern, sophisticated bluegrass (or if you are an Alison Krauss fan), you need to buy Ragin Live.
