I did not expected for much, but it is an impressive woofer for the price, installed in an ported box that we found, bass was pretty loud, (I let it play at low to mid for about 3 hours, and then tested it) thank you !

OK, here's the deal with these speakers..they are designed for a vented cab. Also..speakers must have a break-in period..10 minutes at 25% volume, minimum of one hour at no more than 50%. Fully broken in in about 5 hrs. Have had one as subwoofer for a year, no problem. Just installed 4 more in a bass guitar cab..they sound excellent for both Bass and guitar. will be using them for other projects.

Why do subwoofer manufacturers like to lie about the amount of power a woofer can handle. Im barely pumping this woofer with a 300 watt rms amp and if i crank it to half way this things coil starts to squeak and bump into the cap. It just shows that the quality is bad. Guess you really do get what you pay for. Please do not lie about the spec and then when we hook it up to something this thing was obviously not design to handle it breaks or was already broken due to crappy materials used. False advertising.
