Very pleased with this product. It's soft and large and my baby loves the crinkle border and squeaky square. It looks beautiful with all the baby faces.

I bought this on recommendation of a video I saw. The lady said her baby loved looking at the faces and also the crinkly sounds. Not so for my little guy. He could care less about the faces and so many of his toys already make sounds that he really doesn't engage with this. I should have saved the money. He's just as happy with his toys and a printed blanket a friend made. IMO this is way over priced. Nothing impressive about it.

My baby loves this mat! So does my 14 month old nephew. They both like looking at the different baby faces and their expressions. This mat is also quite plushie compared to all the others we use. It has rings along the edges where you can attach more link toys, a mirror on one of the corners, and the entire edge is crinkly! My baby loves that! Other mom friends have seen and loved it as well and always ask where I bought it!

Our son loves looking at the babies. He also likes the peek-a-boo flap and the flexible plastic mirror. We got this when he was about 3 months. Now that he can crawl at 7 months he has somewhat outgrown it as he is hard to contain in a small area. For a while the crinkly blue edge delineated his space and he stayed on it for quite a long time before venturing out. However, it is still useful to throw down even outside on the grass sometime.
There are red plastic hooks on the edged where you can attache various toys and exchange them occasionally.
We washed it a few times (on delicate cycle) and it holds up well.
