Very disappointed! The lid had some sort of black stuff in the glass, so I asked for a replacement. The replacement had scratches in the glass. I really liked this particular product since it had a cow on it, so I decided to try one more time. The third dish came and this time the glass had a warped look to it. Three dishes later, and still not one worth keeping! I suppose quality control did not come home with the cows. It's really too bad, as I was looking forward to having this particular butter dish. But enough was enough.

(wife replying) I wanted a butter dish I could see through. This one will hold the Irish butter I get from Costco. I like the idea that it is made in the USA. The dish is a good size, and fits in my refrigerator butter area. When needed I just pop it into the dishwasher and it comes out clean and ready to put more butter on. And for the price you can't beat it.

I love my new butter dish. The cow is so cute! There seems to be several ways I can store and serve my butter--down below, inside, and on top! It's difficult to tell, but this is large enough for "European" size butter, as well as American sticks of butter. I love that it's glass and I can see how much butter I have, in case I need to fetch another stick for the dish I'm cooking/making.

Great product for butter or cream cheese. We bought this cow-lid set and also the plain set with no cow embossed on the top. Of the two sets, the cow-top fits the bottom dish (of either set) better than the plain top. We like, and use both sets, but we're just including that info in case anyone is wondering, and we don't know if that is the case for all sets, or just ours. Great product.
