It's just so long...

We have what I assume is a pretty standard size train table (Thomas brand), and this bridge is so large it cannot be used on the table. Even diagonally, there isn't enough room on the table to connect additional track to the ends. Now, because it is in sections, you could use one of the bridge pieces. But you only have 2 riser tracks so you can't use both bridge pieces separately. Ugh.

This a really beautiful and large bridge. We reconfigure the train tracks every week and this bridge is always included. The only draw back is that the 'legs' need to be a bit taller. We find that our train does not move easily beneath it. It would have been the perfect bridge had it not been for this drawback. We set it up without tracks running under it. Perhaps it was made to have just 'water' under it but you know that you want to lay tracks beneath it!

This bridge set was a terrific value. It's very well made and it adds so much dimension to an ever growing train set. This was a great addition to my grandchildren's train set. Oma (grandma...that's me) scored major points AND we have so much fun too!
Golden Gate Bridge

We moved to the Bay Area a year ago and my son loves the Golden Gate Bridge. He also loves trains. We just gave him this bridge for his 4th birthday and he said it was the Golden Gate Bridge as soon as he opened it. Needless to say, he's delighted. This toy bridge is much longer than most since it is two spans plus the ramps and a small connecting piece. Seems like high quality. I think the resemblance must be intentional, especially considering the background shown on the box.

These really are nice looking and the quality is good. They're really big and we couldn't fit them on the train table together. I have them separated now. If you have a larger area for your track, I'd highly recommend these.
