This things gives a great open and round sound

This things gives a great open and round sound. Had to adjust the tuning from the felt iron cobra beater I was using before. But with a few adjustments this thing was filling the room with a nice low end. Felt not heard is definitely the phrase to use here. Just for reference, I use a Sonor Player's kit as my work horse with the stock bass drum heads. 20x12.
The best beater for jazz and classic rock

Gives a really amazing boom. Great for jazz, or if you're trying to emulate that 60's/70's rock drum sound. Softens the attack just enough. Definitely worth it.
