This Bostitch pencil sharpener is wonderful! We replaced a very old electric one with this model and it has been a big improvement. The best parts are that it is very quiet while in use and the shavings drawer is clear, so you can easily tell when it needs sharpening!

I returned one and got another and it's the same result. Tips that have wood down one side and make an unusable pencil. I even tried turning the pencil while sharpening but no luck.
