Good size and accurate time - Temp not accurate

I bought this to replace a cheap ($2) outside clock that wasn't keeping good time, and was going through batteries like nothing. I thought I go for a nice clock that would be automatic, and I could remove the large round thermometer since this clock had one. After having it arrived, I opened it and inserted a new battery. The clock started to move, as the instructions said it would. However, I could not get it to find a signal, so I set it manually according to the instructions. I set it two minutes fast, so I knew when / if it received the signal and it would move to the exact time. It took a day or so, but it has and is correct now.. to the minute. The temp gauge is not very good. You can tell from looking at the back of the clock that the temp gauge isn't well made. I've noticed the temp to be off from what I know is a very accurate thermometer from anywhere between 8-10 degrees. It's not a big deal, but thought thermometer was one of the reasons I bought this clock, and was hopeful it would be as good as some of the other La Crosse thermometers I have. The humidity gauge works, however I have no idea how accurate it is. Over all, a great clock, with a fair thermometer, and a working humidity gauge. I think next time, I'll consider buying all three things individually.
Still going strong!

Purchased this 7 years ago. It's outside year round and still works great. Just changed the battery and within minutes it had set itself to correct time.
Highly recommended.

Times up but atomic bombs?

I could not get the clock to set itself to the correct time. Not sure if I placed it in a dead zone but no matter what I tried it could not find a signal to set itself. It has kept good time since I manually set the time so I am not sure if the atomic part has kept it good or if it just hasn't lost any time.
Having read reviews before purchasing, I knew to keep it out of the direct weather. I have it outside under a lanai and it looks very good, can be read from a good distance and seems to have a good working temp and humidity gauge.
Dec 2010:
Three years after purchasing this clock, it is still working. I also moved to a different part of the country and the clock auto reset itself to the correct local time, so the atomic feature definitely works, but it may find it more difficult to get a signal in some locations. I had to clean some rust off the top when I moved, but I could have probably predicted the rust if I'd paid more attention to the humidity gauge!

I bought this clock about six years ago for my back patio. It was knocked down by the men installing storm shutters but, survived. It lasted through a killer freeze that lasted a week two years ago and still looked good and kept perfect time. Sadly, a freak wind and rain storm blew through last week and ripped it off what is a somewhat protected wall and launched it way into the middle of the side yard. That was the end of it. I was so lucky to find another one. I'm sure it will give us years of use as well.
I'm happy

This clock is much better compared to anything I saw even at higher prices in several local retailers like Target and KMart. Note the case on this version is plastic, unlike the more expensive La Crosse that is metal. I decided to go with the plastic since I live in South Florida. The plastic case has a very well done silver painted finish and it could very well be mistaken for metal. I have the clock mounted on the wall of my outside covered patio. The clock face is bold and distinctive and very visible even from 30 feet away when standing in my yard.
I had absolutely no problem with the clock picking up the atomic time signal. It did not set right away, even after a few hours. But this is normal based on my experience with another signal based time keeping device I have. (Atmospheric conditions, influenced by the time of day, affect reception of the time signal.) The next morning my clock was showing the correct time. I've had the clock for a month and its been keeping perfect time.
Oct 9,2013 update:
Two years outside, under cover, in South Florida heat and humidity, this clock still keeps perfect time and the finish looks perfect.
July 23, 2015 update:
Almost four years and it still works and looks perfect. About a month ago I saw the time was way off and replaced the battery. Two days later the time updated and its been good ever since. I don't recall ever replacing the battery before.
