Not the real deal...

Not a Happy Camper.. this product came without a good seal on it, the cap was taped. The product is a bit watery, very very white and a weak smell, not like the "Sals Suds", I have purchased prior... oh and no return! $50.00 plus dollars down the drain, buyer beware...

In my opinion it's the best all purpose all natural soap for everything. Add essential oils for fragrance if you like. I followed Bronner's website advice which says to use Sal's Suds for "non personal care" stuff like cleaning, dishes, and laundry. We use it for all three purposes. Cuts the grease on dishes and foams up great. If you're making your own laundry detergent, be aware castile creates soap scum and buildup in fabrics. We learned the lesson and switched to Sals' instead and it works with no residue. I also use a vinegar/sal's suds spray for cutting soap scum in the shower. Keep two of these gallons on hand and you'll never run out of cleaning products.

I do like the product, however it will cloud and get a grainy/chunky consistency in cooler temps. This clears as the product becomes room temp or slightly above. Use only the recommended amount. Using more will leave behind a residue and you see streaks. Has an light pine/evergreen scent. Nothing offensive like pine-sol. This scent dissipates quickly when dry and doesn't linger.

I have used Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds for years ... always keep it on hand. I ordered this extra large bottle to refill smaller ones. After opening and pouring this product into a container with genuine Sal Suds, I believe that this seller sold a product that is not genuine. It has turned a milky, white color in the bottle. The genuine suds remain clear indefinitely. Also, the cleanser that I was sold in this large bottle makes lots more suds than the real product. I'm so sorry that I purchased this. Don't be deceived by the label. I would rate this product "zero" stars if that was possible.

Our family have been Dr. Bronner's fans for so many years, I can't even remember when we began using them, but I can tell you that Sal Suds is tried and true! As parents to four children, we love to have products in our house that are both safe and effective - especially when it comes to laundering our clothes and sheets for our kids. Sal Suds is the perfect stain-remover. It's fast, no chemical smell, and it has saved so many clothes that we would have had to otherwise throw away! (Which we love on so many levels since it also saves us money.) Along with the low impact it has on the environment, I don't think theres a better product out there. I even use a few drops in my steam cleaner to get my carpets sparkling clean! The gallon size is an incredible value.
