Don't buy one if it will be in the sun
Honest Review•June 21, 2017
I was originally pleased with the weight and constructions, but then found out it shrinks unevenly in the sun! I don't live in Arizona and it seldom ever gets above 80 degrees where I live, but look at what happened to the tarp when it got hot folded on my driveway. (see photo)
It shrunk along a folded edge and got thicker and bunched up. I can't imagine what would have happened in a hotter climate.

Does not fit the Canopy 10X20 frame.

Very good , sturdy quality tarp. However, if you have a Canopy 10x20(base size) frame as we do , it does NOT FIT. It is 3-4 in too wide for it, so it forms pockets with water when it rains. We've tried the 10x20 tarp and it was too narrow by the same 3-4 in. I want to add that the dimensions of the item ARE accurate, but the tarp 12x20(top dimensions) is not FOR the frame 12x20(base dimensions).
good price. I liked the color

I've bought many heavy duty tarps from TarpsDirect in the past but this one split open at the seam after only a few months. Was this a bad batch or has their quality deteriorated? Won't be buying a replacement to find out.
Hope you find this info useful!

I'll keep this short. I purchased this tarp from Amazon on September 11, 2011 and have used it as a carport cover. So it has seen the extremes of deep south weather non-stop for 3 years and 7 months. Just yesterday (04/26/2015) it finally gave up and split in half after a very windy hail storm. I just ordered another one to replace it. I have not experienced the grommet issues as reported in other reviews. Considering the cost that works out to $17.76 per year of use. Hope you find this info useful!
