I used these on a system I have installed around my AC unit outdoors. The mist cools the air going into the condenser making my AC cooler and saving me some money on the electric bill. Every few months have to change a couple of these out because they end up getting plugged or build up calcium. No big deal, rather put new ones than trying to clean the old ones, and at this price is really affordable
These should come STANDARD with misting fans, BUT don't.

BUY these when you buy a misting fan. The misters that are sold with most misting fans will soak just about everything in a 8 foot radius. The finer misters (10106) are PERFECT and you can actually sit next to the oscillating fan, and you won't get soaked. I learned the wet way, and had to wait a few extra days for the better misters to be delivered after purchasing and testing a NewAir AF-520B misting fan.

These were perfect replacements for the clogged nozzles in my porch misting system. I have a screened in porch for my pets and the misting system keeps it cool during these 115F days. It only took about 5 minutes to replace all 10 and the system works like new again.

I use my mist system almost everyday, here in Bakersfield, during the summer. It is nice to have replacement heads when they start to plug up. we have very hard water here and I am constantly soaking the heads in vinegar, so it is nice to be able to just replace them while keeping it on with enough spares.
