Started helping my hot flashes almost immediately. I have had these hot flashes since 1002 after having to take medication to force me into menopause...I have suffered horribly with these terrible hot flashes.....day and night. Just started the hot flash game a few months ago after thinking I had somehow dodged the fun, or perhaps fan is a better word choice. Started tracking how many per day and was up to 5 by noon and quit counting. I can't take HRT due to family history of breast cancer, found this product as an alternative. Definitely eases my menopause symptoms! I used to have raging hot flashes. Bad by day and intensifying by night. I hadn't had a decent nights sleep for months before trying this product. I'd say that it reduced my hot flashes by a good 85%. When I added fish oil in the evenings & removed sugar, which created instant hot flashes for me, from my diet my hot flashes became almost nonexistent! The big hot flash inducing items were sugar, low quality oils or fats, caffeine, chocolate and dairy. I was never lactose intolerant before but as we age or bodies change & the way that we metabolize our diets also changes. Soon after going into menopause I became lactose intolerant and then a year or so later became gluten intolerant as well. So, when my menopause supplements didn't seem to work as well as before research led me to look at my diet. After adjusting that my supplements began working again.

This works like a charm! Note that you have to take it for a month before you start noticing benefits, and it doesn't completely eliminate hot flashes, but dramatically reduces the number of them and their intensity. My mother was on estrogen during her menopausal years, and then developed breast cancer. My GYN said I was therefore not a candidate for estrogen, so recommended black cohosh for my hot flashes - and this brand specifically. She said it is a German product and they have better quality control with their herbal supplements compared to the U.S. I used to have 2-3 hot flashes an hour, and each lasted 5 minutes. I was dying! They constantly interrupted my day and it is difficult to look and act professionally when you are sweating and stripping down every few minutes. Now I only have 4-5 hot flashes a DAY, and they are all mild and last 30 seconds or so. Take one pill in the morning and one at night.

I have recently been experiencing the great joys of menopause...ugh! I am always so cold and thought "hot flashes won't be that bad"...yeah right! I was getting 5-8 per day easily.
