I ordered a 4kilo shot put and received a 12lb shot put. It is way too much a hassle to try and return. So I guess I will be purchasing another 4k shot but not from this vendor... in case I get another 12. That said. there is nothing wrong with the 12 lb. I will use it for training. None of my athletes throw this weight though.
No brainer if your kid is going to throw shot put during high school.

Packaging came all messed up but what do you expect... it's a shot put in a box. She hasn't practiced much since track ended but we expect she'll get back into form once soccer is over. It's a great investment. Very little cost. I look at it this way, if you want your kid to take the sport seriously during the season... you have to invest during the offseason.

I ordered the 4k (8.818lbs) shot put.
I received a 3.63k (8.003lbs) shot put.
This is a big difference for competition.
To late to return for the correct one.
