Not working as expected? Here's a possible fix.

If your brake light isn't working as expected, try reinserting the bulbs. This worked for me.
When I first got mine, the right bulb wasn't working and my newer Ford van was rapidly blinking the other right turn signals. After a moment I realized this was the van telling me that one of the bulbs was burnt out. Turns out there was a simple fix: 1) remove the red lens cover (there are four tabs -- mid left and mid right at top and bottom; use a screwdriver or better yet a putty knife to gently pry out the cover); 2) remove the bulb of interest and reinsert; you may have to turn it 180 degrees to get it to seat properly. Mine was a little loose and had to be turned, but then worked fine.
I've only had it a week but like it so far. I'm hoping the old style bulbs will last for awhile and won't get too hot or melt anything. (with my newer vehicle, which has a canbus system, I can't put LED bulbs in as that would trigger a burnt-bulb alert; at least it did with an LED hitch-mount brake light I tried previously).

Works great so far

Pros - Plugs right in to 4 pin, fits the class 3 4 hitch perfectly, works exactly as all the lights on my CRV, at night very visible, after wrapping the wires around the hitch they tuck nicely under the bumper.
Cons - Not very bright, does not look like the bulbs are replaceable, least I could not see how to get them out, not LED mad to look like it but just a blub, you have to wrap the wires around the hitch, they should of run it thru the hitch.
I would have given it a 5 star except for the fact it is not LED and they way they ran the wires, which should have come out the inside of the part that goes into the hitch.
Having a CRV I plugged it up and opened the back door to check if it worked. Course when I did right turn signal it blinked Left. Oh man it is wired wrong. Duh then I just flipped it over, after ranting and raving, and the Right did the Right.
It worked flawlessly, with the 4 pin pigtail that is on my SUV. Took it up to a store and got in front of the glass Doors and looked thru the rear view mirror and tested it, during daylight, and could barely see them. Turned on and tested all the lights, and got out of the CRV and went out and looked.
Not very bright, but the lights are visible. Looks like they are LED but they are not.
After dark they are very visible. I could actually see the reflection of them in the grill of a car behind me.
Are they worth it? I would say yes, they add visibility to your vehicle. I would recommend them.
I do not get all the negatives unless they have the wrong pig tail for their trailer hookup.

Put this on my father-in-law's truck to give him more "red in back" when he puts on the brakes. I put a similar product on my truck some years ago after getting rear-ended by a Christmas shopper driving a low-slung Mercedes who didn't see my brake lights out of the corner of her eye while on her cell phone. (!!!) Thought I'd be buying a LED version, but reviews of most of those say they don't work with the turn signals as expected. This one uses incandescent bulbs, and functions very much like trailer lights -- all three lights on for brakes, left light blinks with the left turn signal, right light blinks with the right turn signal. The lights are quite bright even in full daylight, so you don't really loose anything in that department for going with incandescent vs. LED. I'm very happy with this choice! BTW, used a 1 ft flat 4-pole extension cable to wrap the cable up behind the bumper to plug into the factory-supplied 4-pole trailer light socket on this 2017 Ram 1500.
Just what I was looking for.

I have a camper with a cargo rack on the back for bikes, ice chest etc. I always worried that the two brake/turn lights on my camper was not enough. This light was easy to install and is a great addition to the back of my camper for safety.
Perfect transaction
