The reason I chose these binoculars over others was the tri-pod, which came with it. The binoculars are great; however, the tripod is maybe 6 inches tall and used for laying-down flat for hunting. Maybe I didn't read the specs carefully enough, but I thought it came with a stand-up tri-pod. It came in its original box and with all the accessories, but I had to give myself a dope-slap when I pulled out the tiny tripod.

I was in the market for a good quality pair of binoculars, and after comparing reviews of multiple pairs on multiple sites, I settled on these. The magnification is very good, easily able to distinguish individual needles on a pine tree at around 80 yards. I had thought, because of the price, the included tripod would be fairly cheaply made out of plastic, but it is made out of metal and pretty durable. I have seen several reviews about people complaining about the weight, but these are high powered binoculars, they're going to be heavy, but really they aren't that bad.
They may not be the best set out there, but I find no reason not to recommend these to any bird watcher, hunter, sky watcher, or anyone who wants a good pair of binoculars.

They work amazingly unless you're trying to see anything less than 30ft from you, then it's a little fuzzy. Otherwise, the image quality is extremely clear, and the zoom works very well even at a half mile away. I would give it 5 stars, but the lens cover for the eye relief lens is a single unit, I wish it was individual. The rubber around the eye lenses is permanently pressed/indented because of being packed, but I will see if BARSKA can do something about this.

Nice pair of binoculars and the zoom is great for my purposes. A bit heavy but i can control it now after using it for a while. Wish the eyepiece cover would fit properly and not fall off so easily - cost it a star for that.
