No frills no thrills, just a nice simple set of straps useful for just about anything you could think of. Stays secure but if you're still worried just half hitch it afterward and it's not going anywhere. Durable enough for outdoor usage. Already ordered something more.

Perhaps I just don't understand the buckle threading which appears to be quite intuitive but they do not tighten easily by just pulling hard on the free end. I had to pull the loop hard then squeeze hard with my thumb while pulling the free end tight. They do not seem to slip.
