Not played with at home since Christmas opening the strap came apart and child lost interest. I do not know why she loved the ones in the store but not the one we have at home, maybe the broken strap. It is suppose to be a velcro closure. I will just sew close and give it another try

Got this for our 3 year old grandson and it is such a joy to watch him ride it as well as do some of the sounds the horse makes. As we have found with all Melissa and Doug toys / games etc. they are well built and kind of unique compared to other items by other product makers..

I bought 2 of these horses for my three and two year old. One of them cracked and broke within 5 minutes of gentle play. The ring around where the the horse head connects to the stick was poorly made and designed. I sent the other back because I could see the same thing happening to the other. I was really looking forward to these as M&D products are generally fantastic, but this was a disappoint.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She had been wanting one for a long time & I was pleased to see them on Amazon (where I but everything). It arrived quickly even though it was December & it got here in time for Santa to bring it. She loves it! It's perfect! It makes noise too but you need to put the batteries in it! We are very pleased!

Bought this for my 5yo daughter's birthday. I love Melissa and Doug toys as they always get it so right! So I thought I cant go far wrong with this...and I wasn't wrong. Love the sturdy pole and the horses head with the reins. And if you press its ear, it neighs (very realistic!). Super cute! The only thing I noticed was the head did seem to wobble on the pole and I though it would fall off but it hasn't. But overall great product for a little girl,obsessed with horses and not having to buy the real deal!!
