As always Pelican is the gold standard in the rifle cases. I know they have come out with a lighter weight version of some of their cases but I have yet to see a lighter weight rifle case. It would be nice if they rolled one out but for now I will stick with the heavy one because I know it protects my rifle.

I purchase this Pelican Case for my M1A Supermatch and was surprise how heavy it was when it arrived. The weight speaks to the sturdiness and the excellent protection it provides. Depending on the sizes of rifles, two can be accompanied, however not much else when you have to allow for a minimum of one inch spacing between rifles and outer edges of the case.
My only complaint is replacement foam pads are expensive, however it's not worth marking down to four stars because of the quality of the material.
I would recommend the pluck and pull pads if you are not willling do do a little extra work in cutting out the pockets to fit the rifle and accessories.

This case is awesome. I craved out what i needed to hold my gear. Very sturdy and could take a beating.

This case is awesome! Keep in mind when buying it, it is large (which is what I was looking for). It fits my Ruger Precision Rifle just fine (unfolded) and with its optic and bipod, also fits my mags in there as well. The foam inside is great and fits inside well and it was very easy to cut to fit my rifle. I am looking forward to getting this case out and seeing just how durable it is and how well it will hold up. I would suggest this case to anyone as long as they know it is a large case.

While looking for a case my new firearm I wanted something inexpensive around $50-60. Well that didn't happen the reason being is because while reasserting options I kept coming across this case. Everyone highly recommended this case. So it came to the point of where I needed to buy a case and almost out of impulse I bought the Pelican. I haven't looked back since. And honestly it is extremely large, unwieldy, weighs half a ton, and completely impractical. However, knowing that if I ever dropped this case out of a plane and landed in the ocean, the case and the contents inside would be just fine. There is something just really cool about this case. Maybe because the U.S. Military uses it or something. Also Amazon has it, when I bought it at $180 compared to other stores where I saw it over $240. So a definite savings there. Also concerning value you have to take account for the the contents of whatever you put inside any case. I know people who will use a $5 case from their local superstore for there firearm that costs over $1000 and that makes me cringe. Yes it may work but why not invest in a heavy duty case that you have full confidence in knowing your investment is safe from a nuclear holocaust.

Highly recommended especially for travel and protecting your valuable firearms. Just make sure to work out before using this item.
