Really flimsy. Do not over fill the reservoir because the press doesn't have the structural integrity to push that much dough. Also, make sure your dough is room temperature first (same reason as not putting too much in.) Honestly, if you have a press from the 1960s/1970s, keep that one! If you want to express frosting on cake, this is a good one for that.

Worked well except for a few sticking. I had bought this one with a Christmas gift card. Before purchasing it, I had "borrowed" my neighbor's that had one that was higher up in the rankings. However, I found the Kuhn Rikon worked better. Glad I got it. Easy to use.

This press is not bad for the price it will get the job done however it does not have much power so it will take time to do a batch of cookies. You must only put very small amounts of dough in at a time or the bottom piece that screws on with your mold choice will just pop off. If you do small parts at a time though once you get the hang of it it works pretty good just give yourself the time.

I have tested 6 different cookie presses. Look at their rating:
1. Kichon Cookie Press Kit with Silicone Baking Mat - 5/10 - A lot of dough left inside the tube, poor constructed piston, not stainless steel.
2. Wilton Comfort Grip Cookie Press - 9/10 - Nice grip and a piston, the see-through cylinder.
3. NuVita Cookie Press Set - 1/10 - The tube is very small, the plastic holding the template pops off.
4. Kuhn Rikon Clear Cookie Press - 6/10 - The clear tube, but as for me it is cheaply made.
5. Westmark Germany Multipurpose Stainless Steel Cookie Press and Piping Gun Decorating Kit with Recipes - 4/10 - looks and feels the same as #4, but have a metal tube. A lot of dough left inside the press under the template.
6. OXO Good Grips Cookie Press with Stainless Steel Disks and Storage Case - 8/10 - Nice grip and a piston, the see-through cylinder. Very well made. I don't know why but the butterfly and the flower were almost impossible to press out nicely.
