Very good for the price but keeping the bar extended is somethimes a challenge because the friction locks work loose. Also make sure it does reset to zero . Sometimes when you depress reset it does not go all the way to zero. Other than that a good value
Not great for rough surfaces

Wheel is a bit tiny for measuring on rough surface like gravel. Doesn't truly reset to exactly all 000, but very close.

This thing never worked right from the beginning. It was loose in construction, many times I would have to start over as the counter would not start. I finally went to Home Depot and bought one with 2 wheels and made sure it worked in the store. You get what you pay for and this one was cheaper but definitely not worth the money,time and effort.
