I've had this model in the past that was very accurate, but this one is not.....measurements vary wildly.....and can make your pressure dangerously high when it is not. I would like to return it for another but can't since the deadline has passed. My doctor recommends me getting another cuff which I did and it still wasn't accurate when compared to other machines, namely the one in the dr office or another one I borrowed from a neighbor.
Junk

The reading was way off and after two tries the monitor stopped working altogether. Total piece of junk!
Inaccurate and dangerous

We got this because our MD wanted us to check our bp. It was reading so high, we called our doctor and she increased our med dosage. We then visited the doctor and learned that this machine was incorrectly reporting our bp as in the red danger zone. Turns out it is horribly innaccurate to the high side; our bp taken at the doctor's office was in the normal range. Dangerous to say the least.
Excellent Except for One Thing

I bought this device because my doctor wanted me to keep a daily record of my blood pressure and this particular one got good reviews on Amazon. I've tried other BP monitors before but none gave results close to the BP measurements I got in my doctor's office (so I sent them back). I've tried this one for a couple of weeks and this is what I've found. The diastolic and pulse rate readings I get are pretty close to the readings I get in my doctor's office. However, the systolic readings for almost this entire period have been 20-30 points higher than I get in the doctor's office. Until today, when the systolic reading was only about 8 points higher than the usual reading in the doctor's office. It puzzles (and worries) me that two of the three readings from this device are spot on but the third one is way off. I'm not sure why. In any case, I'll try a couple more weeks of daily measures to see if this trend continues. Other than this outcome, this monitor is exactly what I was looking for. It's easy to use and gives me the three essential readings I need. If it were accurate on the systolic measurement, I'd give it 5 stars (a good value for the money)
Pros:
Easy to use
Fairly inexpepensive
No unnecessary bells and whistles
Excellent product for the price
Cons
Systolic readings are much higher than I get in my doctor's office

Not compatible with UA-279 small cuff

Bought this monitor with the Small cuff (UA-279) to be used on my kid. (Amazon also recommended this cuff as "usually bought together" with the UA-767PV monitor)
When I got both, I tried it several time on my kid without any result - got Err message, or just the 0 digit with nothing else.
I called the manufacturer customer service, which told me without hesitation that this cuff and this monitor are not compatible and can't work together.
Returning them both today!
