Works great to prevent seawater from backing up into our refrigeration box installed between the foot pump and the thruhull outlet.
RV Water Line Check Valve

I was having a problem in my travel trailer with the city water supply back feeding through the water pump and filling my fresh water tank. I always use a water pressure regulator so issue was not campground water pressure. I installed the check valve on the tank suction line of the pump and solved the problem. Be sure the arrow on the valve is pointing toward the pump.
