First thing that impressed me about the Merrell Jungle Mac was the great arch support. Normally I need to used inserts to help guard against my Plantar Fasciitis. I slipped these on and felt as much arch support as more inserts provide, so decided to try these with the insert. After 10 days and probably wearing these shoes for 8 of the days I still am going without inserts.

I bought these looking for a leather shoe instead of my current slip on sneakers for morning walks and the dew getting shoes and socks wet. Also the more solid sole will help when we go on park trail other than pavement or crushed stone. Heck, I wore them today on an older stone trail and the soles in muddy/low water areas.

The only issue I had was feeling a bit tight and rubbing against ankle bones, but as I've worn them a few days they seem to have conformed to feet.

I highly recommend them. A great value for sub $50 price.

I ordered a size 12 because my feet are size 12 in the sneakers I typically purchase. I definitely could not slip those on; I needed a shoe-horn to get into them.
Returned them and got size 13. Now that is a shoe I can slip on!

The arch support feels a little further back than I am used to, but is not uncomfortable in any way.

These shoes are all I buy for my husband who works on his feet all day. They are the longest lasting and most convenient shoes he's ever owned; and he now has several pair. The prices( depending on color) rival any retailer out there.

I ordered the laced shoes seen in the photo. Amazon shipped me the non-laced slip-ons seen in the other photo.

The slip-ons they sent fit great, are easy to slide into hands free and look cool. They are solid Merrell quality, fit and finish.

I was going to return the errant slip-ons for the ones I ordered but Amazon didn't have my size. I kept the slip-ons because of their comfort and wide toe box that fit me perfectly.

I'm actually reviewing the unlaced slip-ons and not the laced ones. That was on Amazon, not me.

These slip-on mocs fit my feet quite well: not too loose, not too tight. They are durable, but not clumsy or klutsy. I use them mostly when working in the yard with the gardens or the koi pond. But then I have discovered they are really quite comfortable to go for a walk in. The soles are tough, substantial, and resilient without tripping you up.
