Sturdy and easy to use and store
Bryan CassApril 18, 2017
Great stand -- sturdy and easy to set and fold up. I use it with my Casio PX-560 keyboard. The plastic end caps on the top part can slide in on the tubes so the keyboard rests on them. No complaints here other than it came in a box with no padding or foam and part of it tore through the side of the box, but the stand was OK.
Okay

Okay but it extends to the length of the keyboard and therefore rises also. So my granddaughter's 61 keyboard doesn't fit with the seating because then you have to extend all the way and it's too long for the keyboard. I would pick more of a table kind next time.
Horrible Chemical Odor

Update: 7/19/16

I recently came up with some better solutions to keep my keyboard from slipping from the stand after having disposed of the original rubber stoppers up top. The ones on the floor aren't as bothersome so I kept those. First solution is duct tape. I wrapped a piece of tape (sticky side out) around the top posts towards the outer ends, using another piece of tape to secure the tape in place, and finally wrapping it another half a circle to overlap the first layer. Holding the securing tape and pulling on the roll ensured a nice tight fit. This actually worked better than I thought. The tape held very securely, but I needed a more practical solution. I finally decided to use some velcro. Using this pack from Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001O6T2ZS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - I cut the fuzzy pieces to 8cm in length and wrapped them around the pole just like the duct tape, keeping the ends towards the bottom to restrict the amount of force on the ends of the strap. I have included an image of the completed project. It holds surprisingly well. Upgraded to 4 stars after the velcro fix.

I have not given a lot of use to the stand, but there are some things about it that have really bothered me. The stand is not clearly labeled, therefore it is very easy to have it upside down and never even know it. As someone else pointed out, this is probably the main reason that others have had problems with their keyboard slipping. The correct orientation is ascertained by looking at the image on the item description. The sticker with the company logo goes towards the bottom and the frame is longer at the base. I noticed that I had mine upside down when I saw that my keyboard was nowhere near the rubber ends. The company should consider including an illustration printed on a color paper to make sure that people are getting the stand in the proper position. The stand itself is sturdy (once it is right side up) but the height can be difficult to change because of how hard it is to pull out the adjustment knob. Placing your knee against the frame while pulling the knob should make it much easier for anybody having a difficult time with this.

The other gripe is not so easily remedied. The rubber stoppers reek of a terrible chemical odor. I haven't seen anybody else mention this, but I don't believe that this is an isolated occurrence. I have left the upper rubber ends (since those are the ones closest to my nose) outside under a car port for a couple of weeks and the smell has not gotten any better. They agitate my allergies and I imagine it poses other health hazards inhaling such a potent stench. I moved the rubber ends to a location where they can get more air as well as some sunlight - as per internet recommendations - and I hope this will eliminate the odor once and for all. If not, I will have to find a substitute for the rubber ends. My brother suggested that I try automotive heater hose. For now, a plethora of rubber bands keeps the keyboard from slipping.

Overall, the stand is nice and my first two critiques are not deal breakers, but if had known about the horrible chemical odor, I would've purchased a different one.
This is a very sturdy stand and perfectly supports my Yamaha PSR E343 keyboard

This is a very sturdy stand and perfectly supports my Yamaha PSR E343 keyboard. I play it in a seated position and the lowest adjustable height is 24.5 inches and it's a perfect height for playing while seated. The rubber stoppers on the top rails prevent the keyboard from sliding around at least for me they do. Now if you tend to play the keyboard with vigor maybe it will jiggle around a bit but for quieter keyboarding, there was no movement. At first I was going to buy an X stand that claims to be a Yamaha product but there were a few negative reviews not the least of which you have to assemble the stand yourself. The World Tour Double X stand comes already assembled, and the extra few bucks it cost to get it preassembled was well worth the money. I highly recommend this stand.
Good heavy-duty piano support

Box came completely separated in half, except for the little bit of packing tape holding it together. Not sure if it left the seller this way, or if it's how the shipper treated the box. Fortunately there was no damage. I'm using the stand to support a Casio CDP-130 and it holds up well enough on even the lowest setting. The height is also easy to adjust with just simply pulling out a spring-loaded knob, raising the height, then just let the knob go. It's also sturdy enough that it doesn't move too much either when playing.
