I've been fishing for over sixty years and have owned numerous sets of split ring pliers. These are best yet. The tooth on the top jaw is big enough that it actually opens a split ring wide enough to install on a lure or put a hook on. The groove on the bottom jaw holds the split ring in place. No more rings popping out and flying off to never be found again.
