Excellent knife. Horrible sheath
Austin Hall•February 18, 2017
Excellent knife. Horrible sheath. The plastic locking mechanism will break after a few uses and then there is noting holding the knife in place. There's no friction helping you out there. The blade and grip are great but there's no reliable way to secure it.

Came out of the box sharp!
The handle and sheath are great on the knife

The handle and sheath are great on the knife. The stainless steel rust readily and it is difficult to sharpen. Overall not impressed for how much money I spent.
Its a very good knife but it could be better

The narrow blade is ideal for killing a struggling fish on a spear shaft, the knife itself is fairly well made but I would prefer it be titanium instead of stainless. The sheath is a little iffy, The latch that holds the knife in is not the best quality, mine came broken or ended up broken after 2 days of diving. I would have lost the knife if I did not have the bungee looped over the bottom of the sheath holding it in. BUT on the plus side Riffe was quick to respond and is sending me a free replacement. I'm assuming this was an isolated issue.
So 2 stars off because it isn't titanium and because of the broken sheath, +1 star for Riffe customer support
