Good timing system

Was delivered as promised and in a timely fashion. We have a similar timing system now and it worked for us right out of the box. Great system, we are very happy with it.

Purchased this unit to replace equivalent Seiko. We were planning on using this as a backup timer an upcoming meet. After experimenting with the L10 for about 45 minutes, I was able to run a training class for our timers. Immediately we decided to use the L10 rather than the Seiko for our meet. The timer stores events in memory for later review. The computer interface have made my life much better. This is a good buy....
A good but not great Hand Timer

I bought this timer to help time races for Cross Country and Track & Field events. It is not intuitive but luckily it is simple to use. Being able to have times and place printed with a finger touch is great. I have read reviews where people complained about missed or extra times. In single mode and using the device directly instead of a plunger ,sometimes the buttons seem extra sensitive and other times a firm press will not record. This has only happened three or four times after 30 events or well over a thousand presses but still. That bit of uncertainty makes me lower the rating to four stars. I keep a stop watch running and periodically record a time and bib number as a check. This may be less of problem using the plungers, but that is not how I've been doing it.
