Yeah, this isn't a top-of-the-line face shield - but its awesome for the price. When its on, and you lift it up, it stays put. I'm happy with this purchase and will buy another one in the future.

Headband is the weakest link. Extremely flimsy and it broke at the pivot point. The headgear is attached to the shield with a grommet so it is not replaceable and the plastic is too thin/weak to repair.

This is a quality face shield. It is very clear and shaped to cover the face/head very good. No protruding tabs on the front. Swivels to expose the face when the need is required. The color blue is well accepted for a safety shield. Adjustable strap for securing a tight grip on the head.
Curves around the face for good side deflection of objects. Perfect for eye and face protection using the grinder and wire brush. Also good for when sawing limbs that are overhead. Keeps the saw dust out of the eyes.

Great, exactly what I wanted. I got tired of "safety glasses" that either scratched way to easily or were not safe. I wear this thing every time I do anything remotely hazardous. I can also use by own glasses in complete safety.
Only "complaint" I have has to do with it being a full face shield. When using the lathe or heating some metals the face shield physically gets in the way once in a while. But I am being trained to avoid that.
Just wish I had not waited so long to go full frontal.

Initially I had purchased this to be part of my Halloween costume last year. (Dexter)
But.. I have also used it for scraping my ceilings, and painting ceilings, scraping cement off of my fireplace..
(you know.. its intended uses)..
I love this product, however, it is slightly heavy, and does make your head sweat..
A year later, and it is still as good as new.. if you look around the joint compound splatter that is all over it. -- But that just gives it character.
I would buy it again, however, the 1st one is till working great, so no need to buy a second.
