Did the trick on a drafty door

The attic tends to leak cold air into the laundry room, which in turn would draft through the whole house when it's gusty out. Odors tend to accompany drafts around here, so I'm super motivated to seal out drafts. I unrolled this strip along the back side of the laundry door frame and it stopped 95% of the draft. A couple strips of V-flex took care of the rest. I love this stuff. I wish it came in white.
Cheap, easy to use and effective sound dampening sealer

I purchased this weather sealer as a way to reduce the sound and light that was coming through my bedroom door. I used this product to line the inside of the door frame as well as the top portion.
The sealer is fairly thick and compresses really well when the door is closed making almost and air tight seal to prevent sound from traveling through the cracks. However I have noticed that if my house is hot the sealer will stick to the door and make a loud almost sticky sound when opening and closing the door.
Also please double check the size of the tape you need as I never measured my door frame and this sealer was actually to thick in width. This required me to cut the tape in half which was extremely difficult due to the sticky back side of the product.
Overall these has servered me well as a sound dampening product which also cut out the light that comes through the cracks in my door. Is it a perfect fix? Not really but I definitely saw improvements immediately. Would recommend.

Really cheap feeling. The say its rubber foam, it doesn't feel like it has any rubber in it to me. There really isn't any play, if you press it, it doesn't really bounce back, it just stays mushed. I bought this as a seal for my jeeps hard top, I can't imagine it lasting a whole season. I'll just go to lowes and buy some new stuff there. I wouldn't recommend this product at all!
