Doorknobs are heavy and have a nice finish. I couldn't use them in the door ...

Doorknobs are heavy and have a nice finish. I couldn't use them in the door as intended, however, because the new spindle provided is too small to turn the mechanism that turns the latch assembly,and the new knobs wont go on the old spindle. If you have an older home, please don't make the same mistake.
