My old Paasche D500 compressor was giving me fits spraying the new acrylics on the market. There was much sputtering of my air brush and I continually had paint blobs from moisture on my finishes. I bought the Paasche R-75 hoping to rectify this situation. I am pleased to report that the R-75 performed just as Paasche says it will. The R-75 allows me to dial down the pressure to as low as 5lbs. PSI and there is no more moisture in the line either.
Now a caveat... if you own an older Paasche D500 compressor you will need to go to your local hardware store and purchase a 1/4" x 4" nipple. The Regulator and gauge will not fit on the older style compressors. A lot of newer rigs come with this already installed. I live in a very high humidity area and the Paasche R-75 Moisture trap is a wonderful item.
Overall I would give this item 10 stars if I could.

Good Upgrade for an Old Compressor

I bought this to replace a much older regulator/trap combo that was no longer working. It's much nicer than the old unit - seems sturdier, better finished, and versatile. I did not need to use adapters for the meter or my airbrush hose. A nice touch is the included pressure meter: it has a 0-60 scale rather than the 0-100 scale that came with my old regulator. That helps me adjust the pressure more accurately. Overall, I really like this regulator and expect it to last as long as the old one did.
Works great with Badger 150

I got this after experiencing several problems with units multiple of the the Badger version of this same regulator.
The Paasche regulator not only comes with the correct male/female 1/4-NPT standard threaded compressor fittings and teflon tape to hook up "out of the box" but it is cheaper as well! The female threaded fitting goes onto the compressor (or tool quick-connect) and the other side has a male fitting for you to screw the air-brush hose onto. Comes with a 100PSI gauge that threads into a 1/8" NPT hole on the side of the regulator.
My one and only wish is that the bottom "drain" fitting was less sharp for your fingers but this is easily dealt with putting a rubber bumper/cover with a small hole over the end - it looks like a fitting that could accept a drain hose.

Seems pretty good, but not sure if it's working

Bought this, intalled (on a Paasche D500 compressor) and tried the same day, and it ran great for the first 20-30min, but then some water began to come out of my airbrush (Paasche H model) again. Not sure if its the water trap not working or the it might be too close to compressor and so some moisture is still accumulating in the lines? Not sure, but pretty bummed I made a purchase to simply put a small band-aid on the problem.
Otherwise, good packaging, came with instructions, good feel to the Paasche water trap overall.
