Works well with Starlink.

Very sturdy and lots of options for just about any angle. The pipe fits Starlink like a glove although I did cut about 8 inches off of it because I didn't need the extra height. I used an 1.5 inch muffler clamp to tighten the Starlink into the mount.

I looked at several Chimney Mounts and read multiple reviews before purchasing this item. The complaints about the included instructions are valid - they suck. However, going on-line to the Channel Master web site provides a wealth of information (most important for me was how to attach the buckle to the strap - I do not find it to be intuitive, but the web site made it very clear). Several points: 1) The chimney I attached this mount to is stucco over concrete block - so the chimney is solid but the stucco can be problematic. To help protect the surface layer, I used 4" lengths of 1" aluminum angle (1/8" thick) on the three corners away from the brackets (which are 1&1/2" wide). 2) I was able to do the job by myself by using Paracord to hold the brackets. The chimney is 32" on each side (square) so I placed a loop over the long end of the bracket, ran the Paracord around the chimney and hooked it to the short end of the bracket. I then positioned the bracket and snugged up the rope. The Paracord has some "stretch" to it so I was able to place the aluminum angle under it on each corner and, with all pieces held in place, I ran the strap (pulled taut) around the chimney and fastened it to the bracket (I was amazed how well it all worked - my "Rube Goldberg" attempts are not always so efficient). Once the brackets were in place, I mounted the mast (10' of 1" EMT Conduit), used a level to verify that it was vertical (only slight adjustment was necessary) and tightened all hardware. Easy Peasy...
Works great for my weather station

I purchased this specifically to use to mount my weather station on the peak of my pole barn. It was extremely easy to mount the bracket to the barn and equally easy to put the weather station on it and then get up the ladder and but the pole on the bracket. Three screw attach the pole to the bracket and it is easily adjustable. The steel is decent thickness and strong enough to hold up to a 70 mph wind gust that I recorded off the weather station just a few days after installing it at the first of November. The paint appears to be of good quality - it did not scratch during installation and before I wrote this review, I got out the extension ladder and climbed up to it and inspected it.
It has been in use almost 8 weeks and is holding up as good as new. Although I did not use it for a TV antenna, I feel that it would hold up well with any light object, such as an antenna or a weather station. Highly recommend this if you are looking at it and comparing to other mounts. I did spend several days comparing and chose this one - I am very happy with my decision.

Needs better fasteners and washers

This kit includes 4 5/16" carriage bolts for the mast clamps, but 4 smaller 1/4" lag screws to mount to the eave. They should include 5/16" or 3/8" lag screws or bolts to mount to the eave. The brackets need to be drilled to accomodate larger diameter screws.
The upper mount works poorly with carriage bolts. The mount is folded exactly where the square holes are supposed to engage the carriage bolt heads, so there is very little engagement when tightening. They should include a U-bolt as they do with their wall mount. And replace the flat metal clamp with a nest to prevent mast rotation instead of requiring you to drill a hole and use a screw into the mast. I am currently looking for their U-bolt kit which includes these parts.
For the lower mount, Channel Master needs to include 2 more nuts so that the carriage bolts can be cinched tight to the L channels to make it more rigid. Again, if you add the Channel Master U-bolt kit, you'll end up with 2 extra nuts that can be used for this purpose.
Lastly, a flat washer and lock washer needs to be included for each nut.
4 stars for the heavy duty metal brackets and cadmium finish. It would be 5 stars with the above improvements.
