Performed some elecrtrical rewiring of my engine compartment, leaving the distributor plugged in. Afterwords the car would not start, traced it down to the module, using the mallory test procedure on their site.
Replaced with this new module and the car fired right up just like before!
Im a little disapointed in these unilite modules, seems they short out very easily from other reviews i have seen online. I will definitly unplug the 3 pin connector before doing any work in the future.
I did purchase and install the mallory power filter this time. Hopefully this one last's a while, i have heard of others replacing 2 or 3. At $80 a pop that can get expenive over time...
