Keeps water from freezing in the coldest of temps in a very large stock tank -- it says it's for stock tanks up to 50 gallons, but mine is about 70 gallons and no ice forms -- and it's is safe for "plastic" stock tanks as well.

Works well even in sub zero temps. Have it in a forty gallon tank for Deer, Turkey's, Squirrel's and Birds.

It constantly quits working and I have to "reset" it by sticking it in my freezer. I had to buy a different product because this was just to unreliable.
