Best on and price is right
DMAdamsonJanuary 19, 2017
Got this for my son as I was so happy with mine. Use the quick mode (2 hours) and light crust for perfect bread every time. For basic bread I use the "basic white" recipe and use 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour and a cup of white and follow the recipe for the rest and its perfect. I like to pull the dough out at the 110 remaining minute mark (last knead) and take the paddle out. The paddle does pull out bread if you wait until baked.
For me this is the best one. I had the BK2000 at twice the price which had continual problems and w/o the convection did not do as good.

UPDATE: I want to buy another and to find they do not make it anymore and its replacement does not have convection baking. It was $97.00 when I bought and now other sellers are gauging them at $170.00 and up.
Met all my expectations!
Amazon CustomerSeptember 5, 2016
I love this bread maker! It met all my expectations. Right now I am only using the recipes that came with the bread maker, and I find that the recipes make perfect loaves of bread if the directions are followed exactly. Very easy clean-up. Just wipe the bread pan clean. I use this bread maker 3 to 4 times a week, and I am very satisfied.
But I finally broke down and decided I'd see if they were any better after all these years

I had a bread machine 30 years ago and swore I would never have another. But I finally broke down and decided I'd see if they were any better after all these years. I have been on no gluten and the loaves of bread you purchase in the grocery for an exorbitant amount of money are worse than horrible! So after reading all the reviews, decided to go with this one. IT IS AMAZING!!! So darn easy...just follow the "layering" directions and voila! Beautiful, warm, fragrant, delicious BREAD! No fail machine - you'll love it!
Beware of Amazon Warehouse Deals
Marion L. GraniganJanuary 20, 2016
I had the old Breadman TR2200C Ultimate. It was a joy! It made great bread every time I used it. But all good things come to an end, and after nearly 15 years of use my Breadman Ultimate died. So I replaced it with the new Breadman TR2500BC Ultimate, getting an Amazon Warehouse Deal at a saving of about 25%. What a mistake!

Initially, it seemed fine, although I noticed that the paddle shape had, apparently, been changed from an angled paddle to a straight paddle, and the motor tended to strain and miss in the kneading stage. However, I found that the bread I was baking just wasn't quite as good as in the old machine. Some of my loaves had tops that broke off, some weren't rising very well. What could be the problem? Well, I sat down with the lid open and watched the process. Problem solved. With the new shape of paddle, my dough sat on the paddle and whirled around in the middle of the pan and wasn't being kneaded! So, now I was using my big mixer to knead the dough and just do the rise and bake in the bread machine. It took a little more effort, but - OK.

Then, one day I lost my balance while putting in the bread pan. I reached out and put my hand on the radiator to steady myself. Then came the BIG surprise. With one hand pushing the bread pan down into the machine and the other on the metal radiator, I was the perfect conduit for a low level of electrical current!

I contacted Breadman's customer Service. They were VERY responsive and sent me a replacement immediately. When it arrived, I discovered that the paddle in the Amazon Warehouse version was not the paddle that came with the bread maker. It seems likely to me that the motor and conductivity issues were also a result of the first recipient of this machine. Note - I'm not actually faulting Amazon Warehouse for this - how would they know?

Bottom Line - Ultimately a great product but an eye opening example of the dangers of Warehouse Deals.
The last bread machine i will ever own
Amanda ButcherJanuary 12, 2016
I have had mine for two years my mother has had hers for five. This purchase was a recommendation from her while i was looking for a bread machine. It can make different sized loaves and comes with a good deal of different recipes though i still have to say my favorites come from all recipes and family. It comes with two crust options so that way if you don't like your crust crunchy it comes out just right. The fresh smell of bread coming from my house is outstanding. It also has a little trap door for add-ins like nuts and raisins that have made fruit breads a breeze. It is really the best bread maker i have ever purchased and i hope it lasts as long as hers. I use it to make pizza dough, donuts, really any dough you need a rising cycle for just to give you a few things to think about making if you don't think you will eat the bread everyday. Fresh bread may not last as long but it sure is more delicious. If you have food problems like i do i have even found recipes for things like dairy free bread. If it broke down tomorrow i would buy another in a heartbeat.
