Fit ok initially on a 1966 Ford F100. After about 8 months, the gasket tore. After that it didn't fit right and was letting out gas fumes.

Fits great on my 72 Chevy C20 but it doesn't always sit as tight and seal as tight as I hoped it would. That may be a problem with the filler rim on the truck, after so many years the edge may have worn and the metal may have moved a bit, creating a thinner rim for the lock pins to grab on. But my older Stant cap on my 64 El Camino worked perfectly for over 10 years, which is why I bout this one. Key works great, easy to pop it back in place. Will say this, fuel does not slosh out and leak like it did with the old cap when going around corners, so it does do the job.
