Removed the cruise unit and put in a cable from NP205 transfer case to speedometer in my 86 K20 truck.
So far so good, cable appears to be lubricated unlike other sellers products that require lubrication prior to installation.
I clamped the cable to the back of transfer case so ice and snow do not put a load on cable in winter or brush doesn't snag in summer.
Make sure cable doesn't rub on anything hot or sharp and should last a long time.
